Water
The Public Works Department oversees water and sewer projects.
The City of Ruidoso Downs Water Department is proud to state that it provides “quality on tap”. It pumps and distributes safe and clean water to approximately 2,500 City residents, commercial concerns, and manufacturing businesses. Its source water comes from 2 water wells, 2 booster pump stations, and one Natural Spring. The Department is in constant upgrade and modernization mode. These projects have been undertaken to ensure that the municipal water supply is sustained and safe.
Quality on Tap. Our Commitment, Our Profession.
